One of the great things about Les Gets is the variety of restaurants, cafés and bars that this beautiful resort has. Gourmande food is high on the agenda in this village resort which is full of Savoyard charm and hospitality. Here are some of our favourite picks...
Les Notes Gourmandes - Café & Restaurant
In the centre of the resort, Les Notes Gourmandes offers great views up the mountain, where you can sit and enjoy coffee on the sunny terrace, or cocktails and crepes watching the world go by.
La Biskatcha
The restaurant, and adjoining tapas bar, L’Anka, have a cozy atmosphere and serve traditional, high-quality dishes and authentic wood-fired barbecue dishes. The burger and fries are a gourmet treat!
Le Boomerang
One of our very favourite hang-outs, the friendliness of this family-run restaurant & bar is coupled with a realxed environment, great food and drink and a terrific atmosphere. Just opposite the Carrefour on the main street.
Les Copeaux
Rated Traveller’s Choice 2023 on Trip Advisor, Les Copeaux is a cozy, traditional alpine restaurant with excellent food and wine. Located just on the next corner down the street of the apartment.
Le Rendez-vous
Another great place for casual
dining with delicious food and
good selection of wine. In the summer, Le Rendez-vous has a beautiful outdoor area for eating alfresco and enjoying the sun.
Les Fruitière des Perrières
At the approach to Les Gets (from Geneva) in Perrières, you'll find this quaint restaurant that is attached to the local fromagerie and is worth a visit to watch how local cheeses are made. The menu is all about local produce and offers soups, stews, and great fondues.
Le Bacchus - Crychar Hotel
Just off to the right of the Chavannes lift, Le Bacchus has a lovely deck area offering great views of the mountain whilst sipping on a glass of vin chaud or rosé. They sometimes organise live music and the restaurant offers a relaxing environement and good foog.
Le Petits Sablés
Located on the next street corner, on the main street, Le Petit Sablés is family owned and our favourite café - the perfect stop for a beautifuol cup of coffee on a morning or to warm up after a day of skiing.
Bellevue Hotel Après Ski bar
A fantastic spot to end your day of skiing or mountain biking with a glass or two and maybe even a crêpe. A fantastic atmosphere, great music and a wonderful bunch of young people who serve behind the bar and make everyone feel very welcome. If you're lucky, you can even enjoy some live music (usually on Wednesdays and Sundays).
Chez les Cousins
The newest addition to the gourmet restaurants in Les Gets, Chez les Cousins is the sister restaurant (or in this case, literally the cousin's restaurant) to Les Copeaux. A modern setting with excellent service and delicious food and wine. Definitely worth a visit!
